inFamous: Second Son punches its way out of E3, but not coming to PS4 at launch
Sucker Punch's inFamous: Second Son for Sony PlayStation 4

Sucker Punch and Sony have released a new trailer for inFamous: Second Son, the latest entry into the PlayStation exclusive open-word superhero franchise.

The trailer better introduces us to Delsin Rowe, the new protagonist of inFamous: Second Son, as he becomes acquainted with Seattle and his newfound superpowers. It also features Delsin’s brother, Reggie.

inFamous: Second Son is set several years after that of Cole McGrath’s storyline. The world has gone through drastic changes, anyone showing signs of being a bio-terrorist is immediately handed over to the Department of Unified Protection, a government agency created to ensure there is never a repeat of the events of Empire City and New Marais.

“Along the way, Delsin is going to ask questions that are not just relevant to the world of Second Son – but to the world we all live in today. A world where we are often instructed to surrender our freedoms to help improve our security” said Sucker Punch’s Brian Fleming.

Unlike the original inFamous and inFamous 2, Second Son is set within real-world Seattle, allowing players to explore noticeable landmarks including the Space Needle.

We’re told that the choices the player – and thus Delsin – makes throughout inFamous: Second Son will change “the future of everyone around him.”

There’s no specific release date for inFamous: Second Son as of now, but its not coming to the PlayStation 4 during the launch window this fall.
