Scorpion jumps to Injustice: Gods Among Us
Injustice Gods Among Us-Scorpion

Scorpion has made the jump from Mortal Kombat to Injustice: Gods Among Us as the latest DLC character.

There has been much debate over who the final two DLC characters would be for Injustice: Gods Among Us. A leaked list had been spot-on with Lobo and Batgirl confirmed. The last two characters, according to the list are General Zod and Scorpion in that order. Now, NetherRealm Studios has confirmed that Scorpion will be the third character released.

Scorpion is one of the most iconic characters in videogames and originated in Mortal Kombat, NetherRealm Studios’ other franchise. He is an undead ninja capable of wielding fire who was been in every Mortal Kombat game since the beginning. Jim Lee and his team at DC Universe and Ed Boon have redesigned Scorpion for his upcoming appearance in Injustice: Gods Among Us.

Scorpion’s costume has been redesigned from his classical ninja attire in order to fit more into the DC Universe. Despite the change in look Scorpion appears to play very similar to his Mortal Kombat 2011 incarnation. His Super Move has him banishing the opponent to the NetherRealm, chaining them up and then repeatedly slamming them around the map. Scorpion fights an undead Superman, which may or may not be free.

Scorpion is the third of the four planned DLC characters. It is unknown if General Zod will be the fourth or someone completely different. Expect to hear more in a few weeks.

Injustice: Gods Among Us is out now for PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii U. All DLC will not release on Wii U until later this Summer. Check out the Scorpion reveal below:
