Get ready for some crazy, wild action when Call of Juarez: Gunslinger hits PSN, Xbox Live and Steam May 22.
The fourth entry in the Call of Juarez franchise is upon us this week where fans will get to travel back to the Wild West for some action. In Call of Juarez: Gunslinger, players will be put in the shoes of Silas Greaves as he makes a name for himself in Wild West by hunting the most notorious outlaws ever seen.
Techland has been hard at working making Call of Juarez: Gunslinger feel like a full-blown AAA title even though it is a downloadable game. Players will get to enjoy three exciting modes in the game; Story, Arcade and Duel. Story mode takes players through Silas’ story with three different difficulty modes, including True West mode where the HUD is turned off and bullets cause extra damage. Arcade dispenses with the story and allows players to rack up points through inventive killing. Duel allows Silas to go head-to-head in epic duels with the likes of Billy the Kid, Pat Garret, Jesse James and Butch Cassidy. Scores can then be uploaded to leaderboards.
Call of Juarez: Gunslinger is the fourth entry in the franchise. Call of Juarez: The Cartel, the last game in the franchise, was set in modern times and received heavy criticism for its broken mechanics and generic feel. Gunslinger aims to right those wrongs by bringing the franchise back to the Wild West and focusing on single player.
Call of Juarez: Gunslinger is out worldwide May 22 on PSN, Xbox Live and Steam. It will cost 1200 Microsoft Points on Xbox Live and $14.99/£11.99 on PSN and Steam. A demo will launch alongside the full game. Check out the launch trailer below:
