Blizzard Entertainment has reached a large number of milestones during the launch of Starcraft II: Heart of the Swarm.
The latest release in the Starcraft franchise may not have topped the UK Charts, but it sure is winning over the hearts and minds of gamers. Over 1.1 million viewers tuned into Blizzard’s 21-hour, global broadcast of launch events. Also, Starcarft II: Heart of the Swarm sold through 1.1 million copies worldwide during its first two days of sales. As reported by Twitch, more than 1.1 million viewers tuned in last week to watch the Starcraft II: Heart of the Swarm tournament at the Major League Gaming Winter Championship in Dallas, Texas.
