Activision’s announced that the Call of Duty: Black Ops II Revolution DLC Map Pack will be available on PlayStation 3 and PC come February 28.
Already available on Xbox 360 via Xbox Live, Revolution will be first DLC pack that hits Call of Duty: Black Ops II on PS3 and PC. Providing players with four all-new multiplayer maps set across the globe including:
- Hydro: Located in Pakistan, this hydro-electric plant comes complete with a lethal spillway that floods with very little warning.
- Grind: Set in a skate park in Venice Beach (the birthplace of skateboarding!), quarter-pipes and curved surfaces drive players away from easy cover and into intense firefights.
- Downhill: A ski resort in the French Alps, this snowy map is complete with a moving gondola system that can both offer cover and crush you to death.
- Mirage: Located in China’s Gobi Desert, this luxury resort has been ravaged by a sandstorm.
Avid zombie hunters will also get their fix of undead action in Revolution, through two new maps – “Die Rise” and “Turned”. The first, “Die Rise”, places players into a maze of crumbling skyscrapers amidst a ravaged Chinese city where new Wonder Weaponry will play a crucial role as they make a valiant standard against the oncoming zombie horde. The second, “Turned”, flips the fan-favourite mode around allowing players to take on the role of the undead and play as a zombie.
Those wanting to get in on the action can purchase Revolution as a standalone Map Pack, or they can opt to purchase the Call of Duty: Black Ops II DLC Season Pass. Those who hold a Season Pass will not only be granted access to all four DLC Map Packs for Call of Duty: Black Ops II, but they’ll also receive the Nuketown Zombies bonus map, alongside an exclusive in-game calling card.
Call of Duty: Black Ops II’s Revolution DLC will be available on PlayStation Network and PC on February 28.
