Sony and Tin Giant have announced that the long awaited PS Vita version of Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault has suffered yet another delay.
Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault (Q-Force in Europe) is the latest entry in the long-running Ratchet & Clank franchise from Insomniac Games. Insomniac Games developed the PS3 version of the title, which launched November 2012. In order to promote the PS Vita, Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault was marketed as a Cross-Buy title where purchasing the PS3 version also got the player the PS Vita version as well.
However, the game was pushed back until January 2013 on PS Vita. The port is being handled by Tin Games rather than Insomniac Games. Finally, on the PS Blog, Sony has given some news on the release, but it isn’t good. The game has been delayed into Spring 2013 as it needs a bit more polishing.
Sony does understand how frustrating this is so they’re making gamers an offer. On the day Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault releases on the PS Vita, anyone who bought the PS3 version (Physical or Digital) will be able to download Ratchet & Clank: Deadlocked for free. Its available on the release date of the PS Vita version, however Sony did not state how long this promotion will last.
Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault is out Spring 2013 for PS Vita. You can get the game now on PS3 and secure the PS Vita version for free along with Ratchet & Clank: Deadlocked.
