Sony Europe announces PS Plus content for February

This months new additions to PS Plus in Europe are sure to have gamers kicking in joy.

Every month Sony adds more titles that PS+ members can download for free and enjoy. In February, they’re going to be offering an even bigger deal to entice those who have yet to subscribe. Starting February 6 and ending February 20, the 90 day membership will be available for £7.99, which is a 30% reduction. Those who have PS+ membership who want to make use of the deal can stack it onto their current subscription.

For PlayStation 3, PS Plus subscribers will get access to Sleeping Dogs, the critically acclaimed open-world kung-fu title from Square Enix and United Front Games. In Sleeping Dogs, players play as undercover cop Wei Shen who must infiltrate and take down the Hong Kong Triads without blowing his cover. PS3 owners will also get two downloadable titles; F1 Race Stars and the platformer Quantum Conundrum. All of this content will be available starting February 6.

PS Vita users will also get a hefty amount of content to drool over. The futuristic racer Wipeout 2048 will be made available for download February 13. On February 20, PS Vita users will also get Lumines Electronic Symphony for free.

PS+ is a subscription based service for the PlayStation Brand. Subscribers get to enjoy access to a constant library of 14 free games, 2GB of Cloud Storage and other goodies like exclusive access to betas and demos. One subscription gets PS+ on both PS3 and PS Vita. The service in Europe currently costs £39.99 for a one-year subscription or £11.99 for a 90 day subscription.
