Square Enix is crossing-over two of their franchises with upcoming Hitman: Absolution DLC.
IO Interactive, which developed Hitman: Absolution, and Eidos Montreal, which developed Deus Ex: Human Revolution, are both owned by Square Enix. Both have similar themes in that both allow you to play how you want. Now, Square Enix is bring the two games together via DLC.
Players will be able to download two pieces of content based on items from Deus Ex: Human Revolution for use in Hitman: Absolution’s Contracts mode. These are the “Hitman: Absolution Deus Ex Suit” and the “Hitman: Absolution Deus Ex ’Zenith’ Gun.”
The suit is based on Adam Jensen’s outfit in Human Revolution. Not only will you look high-tech and awesome, but you’ll also receive better protection from firearms thanks to the advanced armor. The Zenith pistol is based on Jensen’s first pistol received in Human Revolution, and comes with a custom silencer for Agent 47 to complete his missions in silence.
Deus Ex: Human Revolution released August 2011 on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. A Mac version was released April 2012. The game was highly praised for its story, strong dialogue, visuals and the fact that players could play as they want. However, it was criticized for its horrible boss fights.
The Deus Ex DLC will cost $1.00 per piece on PS3 and PC or 80 Microsoft Points on Xbox 360. That is right, the suit and gun will be sole separately rather than together.
