As expected, Activision’s blockbuster title – Call of Duty: Black Ops II – has captured the hearts of millions and makes its way to top spot in the UK.
Call of Duty: Black Ops II faced little opposition and launched at the top spot. Black Ops II is the ninth main title in long-running franchise and was developed by Treyarch. The game continues the story of Black Ops as Frank Woods and Alex Mason set up events in the 1970s that drastically impact the future of 2025. Black Ops II features a brand new campaign that has players make choices that effect the ending, the improved Zombies mode and the always addictive multiplayer.
Halo 4, last week’s top game was forced down into the number 2 spot with FIFA 13 moving down to number three. Assassin’s Creed III was unable to top FIFA this week. The shift down for these titles was expected after it was announced that Black Ops II grossed $500 million in its first 24 hours.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified for PS Vita enters the chart at #16 making it the only PS Vita title on the chart. Unlike Black Ops II, Declassified has not been received well by critics. The full charts for the week ending November 17 is as follows:
