Sony and Naughty Dog have released a new video for Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception, featuring the ladies’ man himself, Nathan Drake.
In the video we find Nathan Drake’s voice-actor, Nolan North sneakingly (and rather hilariously, we might add) teasing us with the upcoming Collector’s Edition of Uncharted 3.
The Collector’s Edition, which features a plethora of goodies that Uncharted fans will kill to get their hands on, comes packaged in what’s “made to look like a sixteenth century travel case” and is fully equipped with magnets! The rest of the goodies are detailed in full below:
- Exclusive Sideshow Collectibles™ 8.5″ Nathan Drake Statue
- Wearable replica of Nathan Drake’s belt buckle
- Wearable replica of Nathan Drake’s ring with necklace strap
- Exclusive Steelbook™ game case
- Stylish “Travelling Chest” packaging houses all contents
It’s certainly one of the better looking collector’s bundles we’ve seen in a while, and comes with a reasonable price-tag of $99.99, surely making this a must-have for the franchises loyal followers. Though, those interested better hurry as according to Nolan, they’re “only going to make like… three.”
Set in the midst of an elaborate con to settle a twenty-year old score, fortune hunter Nathan Drake stumbles into a centuries-old conspiracy that puts him back on the trail of his infamous ancestor, Sir Francis Drake. But, his search for a lost 16th-century treasure leads him to an even greater discovery – an ancient secret that ensnares him in a web of deceit, pitting him against a shadowy clandestine organization and the occult treachery of its cunning and ruthless leader.
Aided by his mentor Victor Sullivan, Drake embarks on a daring trek across Europe and into the Middle East, tracing the footsteps of the famed Lawrence of Arabia in their hunt for the fabled Atlantis of the Sands.
Not only will the game see the return of series favourites Victor Sullivan, Elena Fisher and Chloe Frazer, but it’ll also introduce a slew of new features including online split-screen support for up to two-players, and full support for stereoscopic 3D.
Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception is scheduled to launch on November 1 in North America and November 2 in Europe exclusively on PlayStation 3.
