It seems that the next game in the Assassin’s Franchise has been leaked.

Neogaf was kind enough to grab some pics of what could be the next Assassin’s Creed game. Apparently a Flash file con­tain­ing the logo and Altair’s (Assassin’s Creed 1’s prot­ag­on­ist) name in Arabic script popped up.

A post on the page states for folks to click the link to help reveal an “exclus­ive look at the upcom­ing Assassin’s Creed game.” The pics did not hint if this was for an iOS game, a new comic series, a spin-off for the 3DS or NGP, or even if it was the next big game in the fran­chise. Although, since it does men­tion Altair it’s very pos­sible that this isn’t the next game in the fran­chise since Assassin’s Creed 3 is repor­ted to be in a new time period with a new assas­sin.

Ubisoft teased earlier this year that they were con­sid­er­ing turn­ing Assassin’s Creed into an annual fran­chise. This could sup­port the claim. We had also broke the news about Assassin’s Creed 3 being in devel­op­ment earlier this month.
