After Billboard sit­ings and retail list­ings the cat has finally been let out of the bag!

Earlier this even­ing Sony and Insomniac Games finally con­firmed that Resistance 3 is in devel­op­ment. A teaser trailer was shown, how­ever unlike other teaser trail­ers, this one tell us abso­lutely noth­ing.

The trailer is live-action with a bunch of refugees head­ing some­where (Presumably New York). As soon as they enter a train tun­nel the train stops. Soldiers cock their guns and step out to face the Chimera (Which actu­ally are never shown in the trailer). So yeah, not much inform­a­tion at all about the game other then the fact that one of the loc­a­tions within the game.

As for a release date. Insomniac only said 2011 exclus­ively on the PS3.
