After Billboard sitings and retail listings the cat has finally been let out of the bag!

Earlier this evening Sony and Insomniac Games finally confirmed that Resistance 3 is in development. A teaser trailer was shown, however unlike other teaser trailers, this one tell us absolutely nothing.

The trailer is live-action with a bunch of refugees heading somewhere (Presumably New York). As soon as they enter a train tunnel the train stops. Soldiers cock their guns and step out to face the Chimera (Which actually are never shown in the trailer). So yeah, not much information at all about the game other then the fact that one of the locations within the game.

As for a release date. Insomniac only said 2011 exclusively on the PS3.
