Mafia 2 comes out on August 24th and Game Sector got to chat with the guys behind the upcoming game!

Earlier this very day I sat down at my desk, pulled open my Macbook, and turned on my iPhone waiting for the right time. At exactly 3pm CST I dialed up the number 2K supplied me with and was now in the middle of the Mafia 2 Q&A Phone Conference.

Chase, 2K’s PR, was hosting the event where he interviewed Jack Scalici (Director of creative production on Mafia 2). All people attending had to pre-submit questions before the conference so that Chase could sort through them to make sure there weren’t many repeats.

What a Q&A it was as well. Jack covered everything from gameplay to cars to the environment to the setting, and even fashion! Mafia 2 does look like its shaping up to be a fantastic game and manages to do what many open-world games fail to do, provide a focused storyline.
