Its less than seven weeks now until the launch of Halo: Reach and Microsoft is ramping up awareness for the game, this time around it’s in the form of a campaign trailer.

Reach is a prequel to the Halo series and takes place before the events of the first game, it follows the actions of Noble Team, an elite squad of Spartan Soldiers and their final stand on the planet Reach, humanity’s last line of defense between the Covenant and Earth.

This time around Bungie is promising a “darker” story along with “grittier visuals amid a backdrop of massive, awe-inspiring environments” compared to previous titles in the franchise.

Halo: Reach drops on September 14 worldwide for the Xbox 360.
