You heard right. Red Dead has gone from Zero to Hero.

Not many people knew about Red Dead Revolver, and after abysmal scores from critics and sales many people left the franchise for dead. It came as such a surprise when Rockstar announced a sequel, Redemption, in the works. People were skeptical about the game. Will it be any good? Will it actually sell? Well its safe to say that all worries were false. The game is one of the highest rated games of 2010 and has sold over 1 million and a half copies in may alone and adding another 963k from June!

This huge number rockets Red Dead Redemption to be the best selling game of the year! New Super Mario Bros. Wii, Modern Warfare 2, Battlefield: Bad Company 2, and Wii Fit round out the top 5.

Red Dead Redemption is out on the PS3 and 360 with 4 DLC packs in development.
