EA has announced that a demo for Madden NFL 11 will hit Xbox Live and PlayStation Network on July 27.

You’ll be limited to playing as either the Indianapolis Colts vs. New York Jets, with the game taking place at the Jets Stadium. Unlike last year’s Madden demo, this time around you won’t be limited to 1-minute quarters, instead you will be able to play four 5-minute quarters.

The demo will also allow players to try out the new GameFlow and GamePlanning features, allowing you to create your own gameplan using the Colts and Jets playbooks. Those of you who create and save a gameplan will automatically unlock the “Master Strategist” Achievement/Trophy in the full game. A special Madden Ultimate Team card for the Jets Stadium that improves defense will also be available as an added bonus.

Madden 11 hits stores on August 10.
