The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword was announced yes­ter­day at Nintendo’s E3 press con­fer­ence. Today they have released the debut trailer shown at the event.

The trailer shows off a num­ber of new fea­tures, includ­ing new items such as the Whip which allows Link to both attack and col­lect items and a Beetle which link can sum­mon to take con­trol of, allow­ing him to fly around and solve envir­on­mental based puzzles.

It’s out next year exclus­ively on the Wii.
