Sony has unveiled the next install­ment in Kratos’ story. God of War: Ghost of Sparta, for the PSP, is set to pick up dir­ectly after the ori­ginal God of War and deal with Kratos’ ascen­sion of power as the God of War in order to prove him­self worthy of the gods.

Ready at Dawn Studios who made Chains of Olympus will be head­ing the devel­op­ment of the game and have stated there will be 25% more game­play, an improved weapon sys­tem, and new magic powers. In terms of story ele­ments, it has been stated that we will learn inform­a­tion about his tat­toos, scar, and his fam­ily.
