Sony has unveiled the next installment in Kratos’ story. God of War: Ghost of Sparta, for the PSP, is set to pick up directly after the original God of War and deal with Kratos’ ascension of power as the God of War in order to prove himself worthy of the gods.

Ready at Dawn Studios who made Chains of Olympus will be heading the development of the game and have stated there will be 25% more gameplay, an improved weapon system, and new magic powers. In terms of story elements, it has been stated that we will learn information about his tattoos, scar, and his family.

Look forward to a preview at E3 this year with the game being released later this year exclusively on PSP.
